How to install Deadbeef add-ons/plugins

These plugins can be found at this address.

There are .so files that have to be copied into a folder

On their site they say: ~/.local/lib/deadbeef/

Tested and confirmed for 0.6.2

This new version has a new foobar like option to customize the GUI:

View-Design mode

That is saved in home/@user/.config/deadbeef/config

- Cleaning up these locations might be useful in case of problems.

  1. I just installed it, and yes, the plugins go into the /opt/deadbeef/lib/deadbeef/ folder. Thanks for the tip.

  2. /usr/lib/deadbeef/jack.so worked for me using Manjaro and DeaDBeeF from AUR.
